TCP/IP Direct Connect for Windows NT
v2.0.2

------------
Requirements
------------
Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 with SP4 or greater
Channel drivers v5.5

------------
Discription
------------

This fix corrects a compatibility problem seen with SP6a installed, resulting
in system Hangs, or blue screens.

------------
Installation
------------
Installation is accomplished using the standard Windows NT adapter
installation process. I.E. Go to Network Properties, click on the "Adapters"
tab, and select "Add". Use the "Have Disk" button and specify a path to the
TCP/IP Direct Connect installation directory. This product requires that the
Channel Drivers for Windows NT be installed.

NOTE: TCP/IP Direct Connect "Emulation Type" Changes for ESCON.
Please note TCP/IP Direct Connect has changed the required "Emulation Type"
within the ESCON configuration. It now requires that the "MPC" emulation
type be used, not "Gen" (Generic).

Update
------
If you are currently running TCP/IP Direct Connect v2.0, you can upgrade to this
version by selecting the "Update" button from the Network Properties dialog box.

Versions of TCP/IP Direct Connect prior to v2.0 can not be upgraded. If you
are running a version older than v2.0, you must uninstall the old version and
then install this version.

NOTE: Remember to record the Direct Connect configuration settings before
removal, otherwise these settings will be lost. See the Installation Guide
for more details.
