Data Tables
Data TablesData Tables is a set of VisualAge Smalltalk parts that allow data files in tabular form to be loaded, edited and saved. The parts can read a variety of file formats and will automatically attempt to determine the format used for a particular file.
The system represents data about the file such as the name of fields as well as whether the field contains numeric or textual data categories. Various visual parts, both windows and forms are available for displaying and editing tables of data, single records and field definitions.
Data Tables comes with a comprehensive manual and a number of sample applications that were developed using the parts. The product is supplied without any hidden source code and there are no run-time license fees.
