CrossLogic VisualRPC**

CrossLogic VisualRPC (VRPC) enables an Open Software Foundation (OSF) Distributed Computing Environment (DCE) client developer to utilize the visual programming paradigm of IBM's VisualAge to create DCE clients using the VisualAge Composition Editor. Using an existing Interface Definition Language (IDL) file, the visual developer can use quick forms to paint screens based on the parameters passed to a Remote Procedure Call (RPC). VisualRPC leverages the power of visual programming with the robustness of DCE to enable users to rapidly build end user applications which use secure RPCs to communicate with other heterogeneous systems.

VRPC is more than just a tool to paint communications based Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) for DCE. VRPC also:

• Increases your DCE programmer productivity by building the client/server communications logic, eliminating systems level programming tasks for the applications programmer

CrossLogic VisualRPC Version 2.1 is available for IBM VisualAge for Smalltalk Version 3.0a for Windows NT, Windows 95, OS/2 and AIX. The price is $200 for Windows and OS/2 and $400 for AIX. Evaluation copies are available upon request. Volume discounts and services are also available.
