BankFrame is a layered framework of over 1000 banking software parts for constructing Retail
Banking client/server applications. In its functional scope BankFrame covers the full life-cycle of Chequing,
Savings, Deposits and Loan type products. The layered framework architecture extends the object-oriented
principle of encapsulation and provides for the Rapid Architected Application Development (RAAD) of
scalable, robust and secure distributed solutions. BankFrame comprises both Java and Smalltalk
components enabling a build once, run anywhere approach to development. BankFrame
components can be fully incorporated into the development environment to provide productivity gains. EON
also offers an intensive training and mentoring program around the BankFrame product which
will ensure maximum leverage of its development and reuse potential.
