VOGUE - Banking System Parts for VisualAge

VOGUE  is a client/server architecture of software parts that provide front end Banking administration services.

Based on EON's Banking Object Model, VOGUE  is built using the proven model-view-controller architecture for client/server development, which has been successfully used to create many mission critical systems. Written in IBM VisualAge/Smalltalk, this implementation of the Banking Object Model is portable across Windows 3.x, Windows 95/NT, OS/2 and AIX platforms and can interface with back-end systems including MVS, CICS, and AS/400, providing a single user interface across multiple core systems.

The concept of software 'parts' provides for a number of implementation options:

• VOGUE  Turnkey - VOGUE  is a fully functional working object model which can be implemented as it stands, without modification or enhancement.

• VOGUE  Custom - The object oriented 'software parts' approach to system building enables quicker customization than is possible with traditional methods. Objects can be enhanced, modified or replaced with minimal impact on the rest of the system. VOGUE  therefore allows fast adaptation to your current and future processing needs.

• VOGUE  Self Build - In the same way as you could build your own computer using mother boards, drives, chips etc., VOGUE 's software parts can be used as the building blocks to construct a completely customized solution.

Whichever implementation option you choose, VOGUE  will provide a solid foundation of proven software parts on which to build your current and future banking systems. VOGUE  parts can also be integrated with a Workflow Manager to provide even greater productivity gains.
