VisualAge ManageWare for Tivoli
VisualAge ManageWare for Tivoli
The VisualAge ManageWare for Tivoli components will allow the developer
to imbed code into an application to generate asynchronous events for
any or all of these application events. These components can either be
inserted manually into the application or visually using the VisualAge
Composition Editor. The developer selects which of the application
events should be generated, and the VisualAge ManageWare for Tivoli
components will create the T/EC events and send them to the Tivoli
Enterprise Console. The VisualAge ManageWare for Tivoli components will enable the
application developer to generate T/EC events based on exceptional
conditions that occur during the program execution.
With this component, your business applications can easily use the VisualAge ManageWare for Tivoli services via visual construction. The exceptions and critical events that occur in your business application can be more easily sent to Tivoli interface.
Note: The Tivoli Manager of Applications 1.0 product does not support application monitoring using EIF events. Monitoring is available only through synchronous monitors. Monitoring of EIF events will be supported in the Tivoli Manager of Applications 2.0.
VisualAge ManageWare for Tivoli parts are available for IBM VisualAge for Smalltalk Version 3.0 for Windows and for IBM VisualAge for C++ Version 3.0 for Windows.
