HotSpots Image

The HotSpots Image lets you display a bitmap image, where you can define spots, which generate appropriate events whenever they are focussed with mouse pointer. It's similar to the standard Hot Spot part, which is included in VisualAge, but you can even define irregularly shaped spots. There is a graphic editor in the settings view of HotSpots Image part, that lets you design the shapes of the spots.

Every spot has two attributes. First attribute - ID contains a unique number that identifies the spot.It can be tested in an application to detect which spot has been focussed. Second attribute -DESCRIPTION contains a short description of a spot and can be displayed on a status line to inform user which spot is he/she pointing at.
