Customize Unassigned Keys

This product is available for VisualAge Smalltalk and allows you to customize all unassigned PF keys as well as combination key strokes and assign them personalized functionality. Time consuming repetitive operations can be simplified at a key stroke. These key assignments are available on any visual or widget part in the system.

HotKeys is available immediately and certain keys have been preassigned for your convenience. Hot key assignments for any visual widget or part can be edited as desired.

All Windows:

  • Ctrl + Shift + E -Enable/Disable Hot Key Editing.
  • Ctrl + W -Inspect current window.

    • Text Windows:

  • Ctrl + Shift + ( -Insert parentheses around currently selected text.
  • Ctrl + Shift + " -Insert double quote around currently selected text.
  • Ctrl + Shift + T -Insert ifTrue:[.
  • Ctrl + Shift + F -Insert ifFalse:[.
  • Ctrl + Shift + H -Insert self halt.
