CASEtalk is the object-oriented tool that gives support through the whole development process - from design to implementation. CASEtalk/Designer is the first Smalltalk design and modelling tool with a full integration to a framework. Using the Model-View-Controller (MVC) paradigm results in very easily maintainable programs. The code related to the model, the user-interface and the business logic is completely separated. CASEtalk/Programmer is the most sophisticated persistency framework available. It has full transaction/commitment control support as well built in facilities such as pessimistic locking and support for SQL views. IBM DB2 users can benefit from the high-performance DB2 connection. CASEtalk/Static SQL Support is a unique CASEtalk facility for enhanced performance and security. CASEtalk/Static SQL Support provides the benefits of using static SQL, such as performance and security, without having to manually to write and maintain huge amounts of C code. The CASEtalk/Static SQL tool generates ready-to-compile C programs and Smalltalk API classes/methods based on the models designed in CASEtalk/Designer.
