SEXTANTSEXTANT/Track: a full-featured family of applications for managing data from a mobile workforce in real time.
SEXTANT/Fleet: Fleet Tracking Software designed specifically to track moving vehicles equipped with GPS receivers and radio transmitters.
SEXTANT/FireFighter: An application to automate the Fire Fighting Control Center, and monitor both the status of all fires and the status of the assets used to control the fires. Vehicles equipped with GPS receivers and radio transmitters are tracked, and any other available information can be recorded and displayed. Information about teams and supply situations can be recorded and displayed, as can equipment status.
SEXTANT/Sim: GPS Demonstrator
Show off your Global Positioning System Sensor as its location (and time, if available) is displayed as an eye-catching icon moving on a digital map. Extend the demonstration with other moving icons, simulated in accordance with your pre-defined scenario.
Create realistic scenarios using the drag and drop interface of the Scenario Builder on a digital map. For the GPS sensor demonstration, the simulated vehicles are predefined, and the real vehicle equipped with the sensor schedules its own movements in real-time. Once the scenario is defined, it can be played back in real or faster than real time. Real time playback allows the real sensor data to be shown in conjunction with the simulated moving vehicles.
SEXTANT/FleetSim: Fleet Tracking GPS Demonstrator
an application which simulates the operation of SEXTANT/Fleet allowing for quick work up of sales demonstrations by GPS sales forces to illustrate the capabilities of their products. Define all vehicles in the fleet, and record their movements.
SEXTANT/FireFightingSim: Fire Fighting Asset Tracking GPS Demonstrator
an application which simulates the operation of SEXTANT/FireFighter allowing for quick work up of sales demonstrations by GPS sales forces to illustrate the capabilities of their products. Record fire and vehicle movement tracks and lightning strike times and locations. Place camps, teams, equipment, and firetowers. Define changes to all items over time.
SEXTANT/Eavesdrop: Electronic Warfare System
A full featured electronic spectrum monitoring system to eavesdrop on radio and radar emissions, track the users of the radios/radars, and perform situation analysis to determine their intentions and actions. (electronic warfare support measures in military parlance).
The system monitors the spectrum through hardware sensors (sold separately) which report their data to a central database, managed by SEXTANT/Eavesdrop. The sensors can be connected to the database either through direct Ethernet connection or through a remote VHF radio link to serial port connection (radios and modems sold separately). Currently supported sensors are Watkins Johnson Intercept Radios and Rapid Acquisition Spectral Processor for communications signal intercept and, Watkins Johnson's Man-Portable Tactical Intercept System (MANTIS) for signal location. Users must comply with any legal restrictions regarding privacy of radio communications in their juridiction.
SEXTANT/Battlefield: Electronic Warfare and Intelligence Analyst Battlefield Training System
For training your Intelligence Analysts, Electronic Warfare Sensor Operators, and Electronic Warfare Squadron Officers, use SEXTANT/Battlefield, a full-featured computer-based training system. Provide realistic scenarios on terrain of your choice. The system is interactive so all users use their SEXTANT/Eavesdrop workstations, and cannot tell if the incoming information is real or simulated. The scenario is responsive to the inputs of the users, so if they do the right things, they get the appropriate information, just as in real life. The users are scored on their analysis of the situation.
SEXTANT/Mark-Up Kit an IBM VisualAge developer's kit featuring mark-up tools that you can drag and drop into your applications to allow drawing of overlays on images or any displayed object. Available 4Q98.
