ProVision Overview

• ProVision BPR enables business organizations to model new or rethink old business processes. It enables various "what if" analyses to determine the most cost-effective and competitive business processes possible.

• ProVision Business Object Analysis enables business and information technology (IT) specialists to team up and translate business processes into business object models. Business object models contain the detailed business rules and decisions expressed in modeling notation and/or interpreted narrative statements. This ensures that management, business process owners, and IT specialists understand the business object model and all the business decisions represented within it.

• ProVision Object Deployment enables IT specialists to translate business objects and their associated components into required automation components. ProVision for VisualAge/Smalltalk will automatically convert business into their equivalent VisualAge and Smalltalk components. This allows for rapid application development with VisualAge based on documented and verified business object models.
