Electronic Veterinary Consultation Service System

The Electronic Veterinary Consultation Service System product enables consultation requests to be submitted from a web browser and stored via ODBC in a Microsoft Access database at the installation site. An interface for data entry, query-by-example searching and report generation is provided along with submitter authentication. The user interface and reports are dynamically generated from information stored in a separate meta-database which is loaded at initialization time--this architecture allows for easy customization of the application. A concurrency control mechanism maintains database integrity. The provided CGI script employs DDE for communication between the web server and the running Smalltalk image.

This product requires Windows NT/95, any web server, and Microsoft Access.
