Veterinary Health Care Records SystemVeterinary Health Care Records SystemThe Veterinary Health Care Records System realizes the data model proposed by the Veterinary International Standards Organization. An interface for data entry, query-by-example searching and report generation is provided. The user interface and reports are dynamically generated from information stored in a separate meta-database which is loaded at initialization time--this allows for easy customization of the application. Objects are stored via ODBC in a Microsoft Access database.
This software serves as an Internet client. Consultation request objects are not only stored locally, but can be submitted via HTTP to a web site running the Electronic Veterinary Consultation Service System. Consultation responses provided at the web site are retrieved and stored into the corresponding request at the client when that request is updated.
This software can also be used as an Intranet client. Any class of objects can be created or queried on the server database via HTTP. The server must be running the Electronic Veterinary Consultation Service System.
This product requires Windows NT/95 and Microsoft Access.
