SISA NLS Translator for VisualAge**

The SISA NLS Translator for VisualAge provides integrated and automated functions for handling and translation tasks of VisualAge for Smalltalk 2.0/3.0/3.0a NLS (National Language Support) applications. It allows the automation of translation tasks. It can be used with the following prerequisites: OS/2 2.1 or higher, and an IBM compatible DB2 system. Windows versions are also under development. A complete CUA dictionary is also provided with the product. This program was developed by SISA, a software house in Switzerland, working at an international level since 1972 in the Forwarders, Transportation, and Telecommunications fields.

Overview of Functions:

Setup: Provides a user interface to define and customize the product.
Languages: Provides a user interface to define the languages being used. This definition monitors the generation and translation of the NLS strings.
Dictionary: Provides a user interface to define and maintain the central dictionary. Allows the definition of the translated strings to be used in all the translation processes.
Analysis: This function processes and analyzes an NLS file created by VisualAge for Smalltalk 2.0/3.0/3.0a. The result of the analysis is presented to the user, allowing for the automatic generation of the dictionary entries and the checking of the original spelling. Support for file prompt and OS editor is provided with this function.
Translation: Provides a user interface to start the automatic translation of a file into a specified language. Support for file prompt and OS editor is provided with this function.
