ObjectPM Control Pack
ObjectPM Control PackObjectPM Control Pack is a set of twelve custom controls that are not provided "out of the box" with OS/2. Included are such controls as a calendar from which users can choose dates, a spreadsheet control in which you can display tabular data, and an RTF viewer/printer with which you can print formatted reports. Each of these controls uses the standard message passing scheme as normal controls, accepting messages sent to them to set various parameters and sending control messages back to their owner window to notify it of various events. In other words, you use them as you would use the standard OS2 controls.
Each control is enabled to work seamlessly with the Universal Resource Editor from IBM. This means that these custom control appear on the tool palette and can be dragged and dropped onto your dialog boxes. No more guessing what third party controls will eventually look like on your dialogs.
Additionally, each control comes with C++ wrappers for use with the Secant ObjectPM class library, IBM Open Class class library, and Borland OWL class library, making them even simpler to use if you are using C++. For example, the calendar control has wCalendar, ICalendar and TCalendar wrapper classes of which you create instances within your C++ programs.
