Provides an easy and flexible mechanism to store and retrieve Smalltalk objects into/from relational databases. Supporting DB2/2 and ODBC databases, working in OS2, Windows NT, Windows 95 environments.
Traditionally, storing Smalltalk objects into RDBMS either requires hard coded SQL statements embedded into the application, results to virtually zero reusability. With the Object Persistent Agent, developers need only write two simple methods to define a "Persistent Schema" and "Object Schema" in the class which requires persistent, the agent then takes care of all, there is no special programming effort or change in application logic required.

With an highly optimized Inference engine, the Expert System Agent takes the business rules, spawning off in a separate thread from the main application, continuous evaluating the business rules and fires corresponding actions/events.
Our first release of the Expert System Agent supports parsing of business rules which are in Smalltalk syntax with a future plug-in supporting plain English.
