Banner for OS/2

Banner is an OS/2 PM utility to draw phrases in big letters, using asterisks. Banner is intended to be used by anyone who wants to liven up any text. It is inspired by the UNIX banner command. Command-line OS/2 and DOS versions are also provided, as well as a Windows 3.1 port.

It is useful for providing big, high-impact phrases anywhere text is used. Some examples are:

• A large e-mail signature,
• E-mail messages,
• Designing printer/FAX cover pages,
• Text file formatting, like title pages,
• Web pages,
• Incorporating its output into software.

• Fast generation of banners,

• Support for all European, Greek, and some block characters, as well as the common ASCII character set,
