1 How to Use the INI File
Most programmers are familiar with the structure and function of an initialization file, or INI file. GEOS uses one or more INI files depending on the setup (network users may have two or more INI files; standalone users may have only one).
The INI file for GEOS describes the drivers, fonts, and other items installed on the system. It also contains other system configuration information, such as the specific UI expected and information about the type of display and input devices used. Applications may also the INI file to store configuration information set by the user.
