README for Pocket Smalltalk
Revision 1.5
---------------------------

Pocket Smalltalk is a Smalltalk development environment for
writing PalmPilot applications. This is a "beta" version, which
means there may be bugs and other surprises remaining in the
system. Therefore, do not rely on it behaving as advertised.
I cannot be held responsible for any damages resulting from use
of this product. If you do find a bug or problem, please tell
me about it by sending e-mail to: ajb@tiac.net.

You should visit the Pocket Smalltalk website for up-to-date
information about this and related products:

Pocket Smalltalk is being distributed as an open-source product.
If you are interested in contributing to development of the
virtual machine or the development environment, the full source
code is available on the web site.

This software requires Windows 95, 98 or NT to run. You also
need to own a PalmPilot or be running the PalmOS emulator on
your PC in order to run Smalltalk programs you create.

There is documentation in the doc/ subdirectory which you can
read with your Web browser. It includes a tutorial, a (as yet
incomplete) user's manual, and a reference to all the classes
in the base distribution.

Please read the enclosed file LICENSE.TXT for licensing
information.

Thanks for trying Pocket Smalltalk!
