The Tiny Translator translates one word at a time between two languages at
a time. The language files are in plain text, so you can edit them and add
to them.

To use the translator, read LICENSE.TXT, then copy TinyXlat.exf and at least
two language files (*.lng) to a directory on your wrist PC. Then run TinyXlat
and press [Menu] to select the desired languages.

Buttons:
[Filer/Time] - Operates the Filer as usual.
[EL] - Operates the Electroluminescent display as usual.
[Up] - Displays the previous term in both languages.
[Down] - Displays the next term in both languages.
[Right] - Displays first word in next category.
[Left] - Displays first word in previous category.
[Enter] - Searches for a word in the primary language.
[Menu] - Displays the options menu.

Tiny Translator operates in one of two modes. Normally, the Up and Down
button displays the previous and next term in the file. Left and Right jump
to categories in the file, and you can then move Down to other terms in the
same and following categories.

When you search for a term, you enter the starting letters of the word you
are looking for in the primary language. Special characters like are entered
using the plain character, like n. While in search mode, moving Up and Down
displays words that match the search term as close as possible. Moving Left
or Right to another category clears the search.

From the Menu, you may select the primary and secondary language, exit the
program, display information about the author, and swap the primary and
secondary languages.

When editing the language files, use a text editor only (non-document editor),
which won't embed control characters and extra information in the files. The
order of the words is relatively unimportant, as long as they are in the same
order in each file. Categories are denoted by an asterisk (*) before the word.
The words immediately following the category title are assumed to be related
to that category. There are currently a maximum of 20 categories.

To add a language not supported, make a file with the words in the same order,
rename OTHER.LNG to GERMAN.LNG, name the new file OTHER.LNG and copy it to
the wrist PC.

Please let me know of suggestions, additions or corrections. While I don't
have time to respond to all mail, I do read every message I receive. Thanks
again for your interest.
