where the corsor is, the
information about the
'unit' will be displayed. When the cursor is in
the place where you can
produce arms, the menu
about production of arms
will be displayed. In
other spots, the system
menu will be displayed.

Instruction

*Goal of this game: When
the battle between your
army (Player) and the
army of the enemy
(Ruputer) results in the
occupation of the enemy's Daihon-ei (main base),
you win. When your
Daihon-ei is occupied by
Ruputer's army, you lose.

*To start and finish:
 When the title is
displayed press Enter
key. When you have saved
the previous data, you
can select between fresh
start and resumption of
the previous game. When
you choose the fresh
start, select a map among the five maps for the
battle field. The maps
are listed in the order
of difficulty (the lower, the more difficult).
When you choose the
resumption of the
previous game, the game
is resumed by using the
saved date in the file
"tacrup.dat." When you
finish the game, press
the Menu key and select
"AvP[V̏I"
to finish.

*Course of the game:
 Start of a 'turn' ->
Repair of arms and
replenishment of shells
in the Player's army ->
Action of the Player's
army; move of the 'units' or attack, production of arms -> Repair of arms
and replenishment of
shells in the Ruputer's
army -> Action of the
Ruputer's army; move of
the 'units' or attack,
production of arms ->
Collection of 'credits'
from the territories. ->
The next 'turn'
 You can manipulate the
game only when the game
is in the mode "Action of the Player's army; move
of the 'units' or attack, production of arms". In
other modes, things go on automatically.

*Move of the 'units' or
attack
 If you press Enter key
when a 'unit' is where
the cursor is, the
following menu will be
displayed.
 "ړ" (Move): You can
move the 'unit' to one of the highlighted spots by pressing Enter key on
the spot. The geography
of the place or the
presence of nearby enemy
may restrict the move. If your 'unit' comes next
to the enemy when it is
moved, your 'unit' can
now attack the enemy.
 ("퓬") (Attack): This
option is available when
a 'unit' is next to the
enemy's 'units'. Choose
one of the enemy's
'units' and press Enter
key. Next, select the
weapon and attack the
enemy. One shell will be
spent. You can not attack the enemy if your shells are gone.
"" (condition): This shows the condition of
the 'unit'. Durability
and the number of shells, etc. will be displayed.
Durability and shells can be replenished in
Daihon-ei or cities.
Aircrafts (airplane:
"s@", helicopter:
"w") can have
replenishment only in
airports.
 "߂" (return): To get
out of the menu.

*Production of arms
 You can produce arms in
the following places:
 Daihon-ei (main base)
 Adjacent spots to
Daihon-ei
 Cities
In the above places, you can open the menu of
arms production by
pressing Enter key and
select the kind of arms
to produce. You have to
pay the cost by the
'credits.' The cost is
more expensive where your 'unit' is farther away
from your Daihon-ei. The
'credits' can be
collected by occupying
cities and airports. You
can produce arms up to 16 'units'.

*Occupation
 You can occupy the
enemy's Daihon-ei, cities and airports when your
Infantries ("") or
mobile infantries
("@") stay over
them. By occupying, you
can collect 'credits'
every time a 'turn' comes by.

*System menu
 If there is no 'units'
on the spot under the
cursor and the spot is
not for the production of arms, you can open the
System menu by pressing
Enter key. The System
menu has the following
items:
 "߂" (Return): To get
out of the System menu.
"" (Status): To show the situation of the
battle.
 "^[I" (End of
'turn'): To move to the
next 'turn' (Ruputer's
'turn').
 "ۑ" (Save): To save
the data to the file
"tacrup.dat."
