Beyond Zork is another one of Infocom's famous Zork text adventures, but provides certain key features that set it apart from the other Zork games. First there is a simple on screen map, and secondly, the game takes advantage of character statistics and levels to provide RPG combat elements.

It is the last game in the text Zork series, and Infocom's 29th release.

You are but a lowly peasant who has to deal with the hard times that have fallen upon the Southland of Quendor. The enchanters have all vanished without the slightest trace and order has all but disappeared. Undesirables and monsters walk the streets. You find yourself tested at every turn. Like The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, you don't need to configure a Mac emulator to play this game, because 'Zoom' does the job for you. Please Download Zoom for Mac OS X.

To get the games recognized by Zoom, please add the extension ".z5" (without quotes) to the Beyond Zork application name.
