The CD contents have been updated. Along with the full contents
of the website, CDs will also contain two versions of GCC - one
is the current release, dated December 2001. The second is a bleeding
edge one based upon my developments. This version produces
32-bit code by default. See the main page
for details on obtaining CDs.
And they've been updated again. The CD now also includes RiscX,
to make the CD complete.
- All programs are now built as 32-bit compatible applications, with
the newly 32-bitted UnixLib. This has two temporary implications:
Some programs may be unstable as I resolve changes that were made
in order to be 32-bit comaptible; secondly, programs will not be
ARM3 compatible until that support is put back in.
The long term implication is that programs will be compatible
from RISC OS 3.1 to Select, and on any new machines that support
running programs in 32-bit mode.
