This is an Enigma clone as build by the Poles just before WWII. It behaves like a standard Service Enigma and was used by the Polish Intelligence Service to break into the first Enigma traffic.

Typical for this clone is the sequential keyboard layout (A,B,C,D...) as opposed to the more common QWERTZ layout as found on the German machines. Also the patch panel (Steckerbrett) is located on the top of the machine rather than on the front.
