Performance Issue

Enabling Direct Memory Access (DMA) on PCI-IDE Systems

Follow the "Enabling DMA on PCI-IDE Systems" instructions in the Installation Issues section. Replace step 1 in that section with:

  1. Run the Solaris (Intel Platform Edition) Device Configuration Assistant.

  2. To interrupt autoboot, press ESC at the prompt:
    Press ESCape to interrupt autoboot in 5 seconds
