TotalNET Advanced Server 5.2

TotalNET Advanced Server (TAS) provides a unified networking solution for multi-platform environments. Using Solaris as an enterprise LAN server operating system, TAS allows PC and Macintosh clients to share resources and gain transparent access to applications.

TAS is compatible with IBM's LAN server and Microsoft's Windows NT Server, as well as with Apple's Macintosh and Novell's NetWare products. This makes it possible to connect OS/2, DOS, Windows, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows for Workgroups, NetWare, and Macintosh computers to UNIX application, file, printer, mail, communications, and database servers.

Licensing

Your Solaris server media kit includes the TAS server license and one free client license. Additional client licenses are available for purchase. See the Solaris Easy Access Server 2.0 Installation Library accompanying your software for details.

Requirements for TotalNET Advanced Server

Operating System -- TotalNET Advanced Server 5.2 is compatible with Solaris 2.5.1, 2.6, and 7 running on either SPARC- or x86-based computers.

Disk Space -- This product requires 30 MB of disk space.
