THE OPTIONS PANEL.

1. The Demonstration Display Order.
The demo scheduler is especially useful when running in
automatic mode because it lets you decide which demos
to show, and in what order to show them.
The PV-WAVE demonstration system has 20 slots for demos.
A particular slot may be empty, or it may contain one demo.
The scheduler starts at slot one and runs the demo in slot
one if there is one. When this demo is finished, the
scheduler moves on to slot two. After slot 20, the
scheduler starts back over at slot one again.

To turn off (unschedule) a demo, click on the Off button
for that demo. To place a demo in a specific slot,
click on the box where the demo row and slot column
intersect. If there is already a demo in this slot,
then that demo will be turned off (unscheduled).
Demos that are unscheduled will also be identifiable
by their inactive (gray) button in the main control panel.

NOTE : For the new demo schedule to take effect, it is
necessary to click on the Apply button.

2. Frame Delay.
This slider allows you to set the time delay between
animation frames in the demos. The frame delay can be
set to a value between zero and one, but it is normally
set to zero for maximum speed.

3. Slide Delay.
This slider allows you to set the time delay between
the display of static images. The slide delay can be
set to a value between zero and ten. A smaller setting
will cause the demos to cycle faster.

4. Animation Cycles.
This slider currently has no effect on how the demos run.

5. Window Retain.
The window retain flag can be set to zero (none), one
(host), or two (PV-WAVE). In mode zero, the demos will
run the fastest, but no window damage repair will be
performed. If set to one (the usual setting), the host
window manager will repair windows. On some systems,
however, it may be necessary to set the retain flag to
two so that PV-WAVE will repair the windows.

6. Reset.
Clicking on the Reset button will reset all the parameters
in the options panel to their default settings.

7. Apply.
Clicking on this button will cause all the settings in the
options panel to actually take affect. (The next demo
that starts up will utilize the new settings).

8. Dismiss.
Clicking on this button will cause the Gallery to resume,
and the options panel will be dismissed.
