num_softkeys
If you are installing more than one new product, there will be more than
one softkey.  The number of softkeys will appear on the Softkey
Notification Form to the right of "NUMBER OF SOFTKEYS".

softkey
This is the long string of numbers and letters that appear after the
word "SOFTKEY" on the Softkey Notification Form. This hexadecimal number
consists of the numerals 0 through 9 and letters A through F. The
case of the letters does not matter. The first eight hexadecimal digits
determine the type of installation that you are performing, and the rest
of the digits are the softkey combination that unlocks the product that
you are installing.

host_name
The Server Host Name is the name of the workstation on which the
license manager software will run.  The Host Name appears on the
Softkey Notification Form to the right of the word "HOSTNAME".

host_id
The Server Host Id is the identification number of the workstation
on which the license manager software will run. The Host ID appears
on your Softkey Notification Form, and it is coded into the softkey.
If the Host ID on the Softkey Notification Form is incorrect, please
call Visual Numerics Customer Support at (303) 530-5200 for 
assistance.

expiration
This is the date that your evaluation installation expires.  It can be
found on your Softkey Notification Form.

quit
To quit this unlocking procedure, enter "Y" or "y". If you do not
want to quit, enter "n" or "N", and you can proceed to unlock 
additional software products.

backup_name
The backup host is the next workstation that will be used if the
principal host workstation is unavailable. The backup host names 
appear on the Softkey Notification Form.

backup_id
The backup Server Host ID is the identification number of the backup host.  
This ID number appears on the Softkey Notification Form.

done
At this point, all of the information for the license manager has been
accepted. If for some reason the current information entered is 
incorrect, enter NO.
~
unix_port
Normally the default value for the TCP/IP port number, 1700,
is sufficient. 
~
decnet_number
Normally the default value for the DECnet known object number
is sufficient.
