SUMMARY
=======

You can add TrueType font support to the daisy wheel printer driver
file (TTYWHEEL.PRD) using the version of MergePRD supplied with Word
version 6.0 for MS-DOS. However, daisy wheel printers do not support
graphics, so they cannot print TrueType fonts. MergePRD should add
TrueType fonts only to the .PRF file, for use by print preview.

MORE INFORMATION
================

The following command adds TrueType font support to the .PRD and .PRF
files for your daisy wheel printer driver:

   (mergeprd /t TTYWHEEL *.ttf)

When you print TrueType fonts on a daisy wheel printer using the
resulting .PRD and .PRF files, Word prompts you with the following
message:

   Mount print wheel for [font name]

After you choose OK, Word displays the following error message:

   Printer does not support graphics. TrueType fonts will not print.
   Do you want to continue?

If you choose Yes, the printer maps the TrueType font to an internal
printer font and prints the document.
