Microsoft Mail Remote for Windows has a technique that allows you to
change data disks without logging in (and knowing the last user's
login name or password). This technique helps support the scenario of
multiple users sharing one portable computer.

To share the Mail client with other users on a single computer, the
previous user will want to remove the contents of the data disk that
is installed so that the new user will be forced to provide a new one.

This will NOT change the message store file (.MMF); users must share a
common password and will have access to each other's mail with this
procedure.

The new user must delete the following user data files before running
Mail Remote for Windows.

 - *.GLB files in \WINDOWS\MSMAIL\MSRMT\GLB

 - all files in \WINDOWS\MSMAIL\MSRMT\KEY

 - all files in \WINDOWS\MSMAIL\MSRMT\MAI

Mail Remote for Windows detects this on startup and displays the
activate dialog that prompts for a path to the data files.

After getting a valid path, Mail Remote for Windows builds the new
user data files.

The result would be identical to the Update Data Disk feature that is
available when Mail Remote for Windows is running.
