SUMMARY
=======

In Word, when you use the Shading feature (available when you choose
Border from the Format menu) to shade a table cell or cells, the
entire cell or cells may not be printed with the desired level of
shading. This can occur if you set the Row Height (available when you
choose Table Cells from the Format menu) to Exactly and set the size
to 18 pt or smaller.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word for the Macintosh
versions 5.0 and 5.1. We are researching this problem and will post
new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes
available.

To produce the desired result, set the Row Height to At Least.
