SUMMARY
=======

The "User's Guide" for Word versions 5.0 and 5.1 incorrectly states
on pages 64 and 81 that the Go Back command can be used to locate the
last three editing positions as soon as a saved document is opened.
The manual further incorrectly states that Word stores the last three
editing locations with the document.

The Go Back command, invoked by pressing COMMAND+OPTION+Z or pressing
0 on the numeric keypad (with NUM LOCK turned off), will find the last
three editing locations in a document only when three editing
locations have been used during the current Word session. On a
newly opened document, Word remembers only the last editing
position of the insertion point.

Saving a document does not affect the ability of Word to go back to
the last three editing positions. However, the three positions are not
stored with the document once it is closed.

The Word 4.0 reference manual makes no mention of recently opened
saved documents.
