 - Microsoft MS-DOS operating system version 6.0

SYMPTOMS
========

If you run SETUP /E on a system that has Stacker 3.1 on the boot
drive, the following error message is displayed

   Insert disk labeled <x> in drive C and press enter to continue

where <x> is an ASCII character.

If you press ENTER, all files on the hard disk are deleted. Pressing
F3 allows you to exit safely. This problem does not occur if Stacker
3.1 is installed on the extended partition.

WORKAROUND
==========

To work around this problem, use the MS-DOS Expand utility
(EXPAND.EXE) to expand the MS-DOS utilities from the disk. Then,
manually set up the MSTOOLS group and icons in Microsoft Windows.

If this does not work, you must either remove Stacker 3.1 and
then either compress a non-boot drive, or run SETUP /E and reinstall
Stacker 3.1 after the utilities are on the boot drive.
