SYMPTOMS
========

The DoubleSpace maintenance program (DBLSPACE.EXE) may appear to stop
responding (hang) when you start the program or when you type
"dblspace /list" (without the quotation marks) at the MS-DOS command
prompt. If you wait long enough (five to ten minutes) DoubleSpace
continues.

CAUSE
=====

This problem occurs when the Traveling Software LapLink III device
driver (DD.EXE) is resident in memory.

RESOLUTION
==========

To work around this problem, restart your computer and press F8 when
you see the "Starting MS-DOS..." prompt. When you are prompted to load
DD.EXE, press N.
