SYMPTOMS
========

If you use the DBLSPACE /L command in MS-DOS 6.2, you receive the
following error message:

   Ambiguous switch - /L

CAUSE
=====

DoubleSpace allows the shortest common unique identifier for command-
line parameters. Since the only MS-DOS 6.0 DoubleSpace command-line
parameter that starts with the letter L is /LIST, /L is allowed as an
abbreviation in MS-DOS 6.0. MS-DOS 6.2 DoubleSpace supports two
command-line parameters that begin with the letter L: /LIST and
/LASTDRIVE.

RESOLUTION
==========

In MS-DOS 6.2, you can use the following:

   Full Command                 Abbreviated Form
   ---------------------------------------------

   DBLSPACE /LIST               DBLSPACE /LI
   DBLSPACE /LASTDRIVE          DBLSPACE /LA
