Converting Lotus 1-2-3 Release 4 for Windows Documents

SUMMARY 
To open a file in Word for Windows that you created in Lotus 1-2-3 Release 4 for Windows, you must save it in the Lotus 1-2-3 version 3.0 file format. 
Word for Windows can read Lotus 1-2-3 version 2.x (.WK1) and 3.x (.WK3) file formats. 

MORE INFORMATION 
Lotus 1-2-3 Release 4 for Windows features a new file format and saves files with a default .WK4 filename extension. 
To save files in Lotus 1-2-3 version 3.0 format, do the following in Lotus 1-2-3 Release 4 for Windows: 

1. From the File menu, choose Save As.

2. In the File Type box, select "1-2-3 (wk3)".

3. Type a filename and then choose OK.
