SYMPTOMS
========

The ConcordanceIndex macro, supplied with Word for Windows in the
NEWMACRO.DOC file, may not mark all the index entries in your document
if any formatting criteria are listed below the Find What in the Edit
Replace or Edit Find dialog box.

CAUSE
=====

The ConcordanceIndex macro does not clear the formatting criteria for
the Find What setting when it uses the Find command on the Edit menu
to search for index entry text.

WORKAROUND
==========

Before you run the ConcordanceIndex macro, use the following
instructions to remove the formatting criteria for the Find What
setting:

1. From the Edit menu, choose Find.

2. Choose the Clear All button.

3. Choose the Find Next button. This performs a search based on no
   criteria.

4. When the search is completed, choose the Close button.

5. Run the CorcordanceIndex macro.
