SUMMARY 
The Windows Telephony application programming interface (TAPI) enables an application developer to add elements of telephony to his or her Windows 3.1 application. The Windows Telephony services are provided as a Windows Open Services Architecture (WOSA) component. Telephony refers to telephone call management, which includes the establishment and control of a call. This control is orthogonal to the information stream of the call. 
The TAPI 1.0 SDK is only available through an MSDN Level II subscription. For more information about MSDN subscriptions, contact [MSDN contact info].
