SYMPTOMS
========

Setup uses the following method to locate the Share command
(SHARE.EXE) on the system:

 - If there is a Share command already listed in the CONFIG.SYS or
   AUTOEXEC.BAT file, Setup will look in the location stated.

 - If this fails or if Share is not included in either file, Setup will
   search the PATH statement in the AUTOEXEC.BAT for the location of
   SHARE.EXE.

If setup still cannot find SHARE.EXE it will display the following
error message:

   Setup was unable to find SHARE.EXE on your system. It is required to
   run this application. Please fix your system and rerun Setup.

RESOLUTION
==========

To correct the above error message:

1. Verify that any Share commands in the AUTOEXEC.BAT or CONFIG.SYS files
   are pointing to accurate locations of SHARE.EXE and are listed before
   any commands to load Windows or a menu program.

2. If there is no SHARE.EXE commands in the AUTOEXEC.BAT or CONFIG.SYS
   files, verify that the PATH statement in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file
   points to a directory that contains SHARE.EXE.
