SYMPTOMS
========
 
After you update to Novell Ethernet adapters (for example, NE3200.COM,
NE2000.COM, and so on, dated 9-22-94), your Windows for Workgroups system
stops responding (hangs).
 
CAUSE
=====
 
This problem occurs when a terminate-and-stay-resident (TSR) program puts
the driver into a mode that allows invalid packets into the Ethernet MLID.
The system hangs when it attempts to process these packets.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
Update to the Novell Ethernet adapters (for example, NE3200.COM,
NE2000.COM, and so on, dated 10-14-94) included in VLMUP1.EXE.
