SYMPTOMS
========

You cannot apply certain character formats to Word's Standard glossary
dynamic date and time entries.

Word ships with date and time functions that automatically update when
printed. Character formatting that does not affect the dynamic date and
time functions are Small Caps, All Caps, and Condensed and Expanded
Position (space between characters).

Note: This also applies to the Date command available from the Insert menu.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem with Word versions 4.0, 5.0
and 5.1. We are researching this problem and will post new information here
in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
