SYMPTOMS
========

When you select a table and attempt to add the table to the Spike, only the
first cell of the table goes on the Spike.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word 1.x, 2.x, and 6.0 for
Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new information here
in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

WORKAROUND
==========

To work around this problem, include a character, such as a space or a
paragraph mark, either above or below the table in the selection to be
spiked. This will spike the whole table when you press CTRL+F3.

Note that if the necessary extra character is the paragraph mark at the
bottom of the table and the table is the last or only item on the Spike,
the table will be inserted in the document with two paragraph marks beneath
it. The additional paragraph mark is added because the contents of the
Spike are copied to the target document with a blank line between each
element.
