SYMPTOM
=======

Text changes color when you scroll through a Word document on a secondary
monitor attached to a PowerBook. Black text may switch to white, orange,
yellow, or red.

STATUS
======

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in
the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

WORKAROUND

Make the external monitor the primary monitor (the monitor having the menu
bar). To change the primary monitor:

1. From the Apple menu, choose Control Panels.

2. Open the Monitors Control Panel.

3. In the Monitors Control Panel, drag the white menu bar from one screen
   to the other.

4. Close the Monitors window and restart the PowerBook.
