Users on OS/2 2.x workstations may receive this error message after installing LAN Manager workstation software:
SYS1719: The file "C:\LANMAN\NETPROG\NETWKSTA.SYS" specified in the IFS command on line nn of the CONFIG.SYS file does not contain a valid device driver or file system driver.
The error comes from using an older NETWKSTA.SYS.
Updated Microsoft LAN Manager workstation software is available without charge in a number of locations.

<filename> -d <destination drive>The -d indicates that the directories on DSK3-1.EXE are to be copied onto a disk located in the B drive. For example, to create a 3.5-inch (1.44 MB) floppy disk of DSK3-1.EXE, type:
DSK3-1.EXE -d A:
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in LAN Manager version 2.2. This problem is corrected in the above patch.
