SYMPTOM
=======

The wrong text appears in the destination of an OLE link.

CAUSE
=====

The problem occurs if the paste-linked text was originally copied from a
header or footer of a multiple-section document while in Normal view.
Instead of creating a link to the correct header or footer, Word creates a
link to the text found in the first section's footer.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word 5.0 for the Macintosh.
This problem was corrected in Word 5.1.

WORKAROUND
==========

To paste link the desired header or footer, choose Page Layout from the
View menu before copying the text.
