The information in this article applies to:

 - Microsoft FoxPro for Windows, versions 2.5, 2.5a, and 2.5b
--------------------------------------------------------------------

SYMPTOMS
========
Attempting to run the SetupWizard from a read-only network installation of
FoxPro for Windows results in a "File Access Denied" error message.

CAUSE
=====
The SetupWizard requires write access to the FoxPro directory so that it
can create .INI and other files.

RESOLUTION
==========
Make sure you have write access to the FoxPro directory.
NOTE: Copying the SetupWizard application to your local hard disk will not
resolve the problem because DKSETUP.PRG uses SYS(2004) to write files to
the FoxPro directory.
