SYMPTOM
=======

The Undo command is dimmed (unavailable) on the Edit menu after you edit
some types of embedded objects.

For example, if you double-click an equation and alter it in the Equation
Editor, once you have returned to the document, you cannot use the Undo
command to return the unaltered equation.

NOTE: After you edit a graphic using the Picture Editor (unlike MS Graph or
the Equation Editor), the Undo command is available.

STATUS
======

This feature is under review and will be considered for inclusion in a
future release.

RESOLUTION
==========

To return to the previously unedited version of an embedded object, the
document has to have been saved prior to altering the object. If so, close
the document without saving changes and reopen the document. If the
document was not saved prior to altering the object, then the unedited
version is lost and must be re-created.
