SUMMARY
=======

In Microsoft Project, when you view a project in the Calendar view,
subtasks in the project that are collapsed are not displayed.

Additionally, when you print a task report, subtasks in the project that
are collapsed do not display in print preview or on the printed report.

WORKAROUND
==========

To display subtasks in the Calendar view or in a task report, do the
following:

 - Before you display the project in the Calendar view or print a task
   report, make sure your outline is expanded so that all subtasks are
   displayed.

If you are in a view that doesn't allow outlining (such as a PERT Chart
view), choose Gantt Chart from the View menu (or choose another view in
which you can use the Outline buttons) and choose the Show All Tasks button
from the Formatting toolbar to display all subtasks. You can then view all
tasks in your project in Calendar view and you can print all tasks in a
task report.

MORE INFORMATION
================

In Microsoft Project, you cannot expand or collapse summary tasks in
some views of your project. Normally, when you display your project
in a view where this option is not available, all of your tasks are
displayed, even if they are collapsed (because there is no way to expand
the outline). However, the Calendar view is an exception to this behavior;
collapsed tasks are not displayed and you cannot expand or collapse your
summary tasks in this view.

A task report is another exception to this behavior: any collapsed tasks
are not displayed or printed, even if you print the report from a view that
displays the collapsed tasks.
