SYMPTOMS
========
When you change paper sizes in the Print Setup dialog box, the paper size
list may not show all of the available choices. Paper sizes such as
Letter Extra Transverse do not appear. This choice, however, is
available in the Control Panel.

WORKAROUND
==========
Use the Control Panel to set your printer page size to the desired
page size.

MORE INFORMATION
================
This problem only affects applications that use the Common Dialog routines
to access the Print Setup dialog boxes (for example, Publisher, Write, and
so on). The problem is caused by the method used to enumerate the actual
page sizes in the driver itself. The Common Dialog will only list those
page sizes with identifier numbers from 1 (Letter sized) to 41 (German
Standard Fanfold Legal sized), as well as 256 (User Defined size). Many
PostScript drivers use a range between 41 and 256 to enumerate special
sizes (such as Letter Extra Transverse).

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Publisher versions 1.0,
1.0a, 2.0, and 2.0a. We are researching this problem and will post new
information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
