SYMPTOMS
========

In Microsoft Project, the macro recorder will not record information you
enter in the mail dialog box (the dialog box you get when you choose the
Send command from the File menu).

WORKAROUND
==========

To work around this problem, use the Module Editor to create a macro that
uses the MailSend method and specify the desired parameters.

MORE INFORMATION
================

The mail system does not record these parameters or pass them back to
the initiating application.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior
---------------------------

1. Enter a new task

2. From the Tools menu, choose Macro, and then choose Record. In the Name
   box, type "Mail" (without the quotation marks) to name the macro "Mail."

3. From the File menu, choose Send.

4. Enter an email name in the To box, a subject in the Subject box, and
   then choose the Send button.

5. From the Tools menu, choose Stop Recording.

6. From the Tools menu, choose Macro, select Mail and choose Edit.

Note that the information that you typed in the To and Subject boxes does
not appear.
